disgust

So, I work at a vets office and I know people love their animals but one thing I will never understand is why people keep getting animals when they already complain about the cost of petcare for their current animal. I mean, what causes a person to wake up one morning and think to themselves "You know, I think I will get a new dog today. Fidos UTI can wait to be seen by the vet. I'm sure the he can live with the sensation of fire when he pisses. Yeah, I will get a new dog." It makes me sick. For example, last weekend this tiny ass little old lady who I guess is notorious for complaining about the cost of vet visits, even though her dog had wicked skin issues. Anyhoo, she hadn't been in to see the vet for like 2 years and now she calls because she has to put the dog down. Well, the dog already looked dead. It was so sad because she could have treated but she couldn't financially. I understand times are tough and she is like 105 years old so it is probably the best thing to put the dog down and out of its suffering. Not even a week later she came in asking if Brussels Griffons are good dogs?! What the fuck? I mean really?? She told me she was looking around at the pounds because she will be getting another dog. What? I am still confused by this. People do not make sense. Especially old people because they figure that they can get away with whatever the want. All I have to say is old people should not have animals. If they need the company so fucking much, check into an old persons home and get over it.


I will go broke buying shit for my dogs. They are are off the chain.
