Cupcake Manicure

Well, well... Look who is back!!

It appears that I only update this blog once a year which I apologize for. I fully intended to update often but it is more work than you would think.

Anyhow, I saw a video on YouTube a few months back on a Cupcake Manicure and this was my take on it. I hope this simple post will get me back in the swing of things. I have a few ideas for some posts I want to get up. Stay tuned!!

Also, here is a lil something sweet I saw in my miso soup recently :)

1 nigga, 2 nigga, 3 nigga, gigga whaaaaaa....

Long before T.I. and 50 Cent and Lil Wayne all started sucking each other off and before 50 Cent was pretending to act in the most atrocious movie ever ***cough*** righteous kill ***cough cough*** way back in the awesomeness that was the 90's.... Poetic Justice. I love the 90's. Poetic Justice probably is shitty, I will admit that but I like it because who doesn't like a movie with 90's outfits and black people calling each other nigger and it doesn't sound really lame. Who didn't like Boyz 'n the Hood? I miss the 90's, I am stuck in a time where every movie comes with the warning "From the guys who brought you blah blah blah" And believe me, that is a warning... that it is most likely not good. On that note, doesn't it seem like almost every comedy that comes out now has the following people: Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, or Steve Carell and now what I will call "Baby Steve Carell" Michael Cera. That poor child has already been pegged as the teenage version of Steve Carell and I say this because what else can he do besides being the boring straight faced voice of reason who happens the be the funniest ever! I guess that is something that most people wouldn't pick up on, but me being so desperate for something good will nit pick at every thing. Waaaaaah I need to see something good in the theaters soon. :(

p.s. dear tupac, wherever you are, I am gods gift to a motha fuckin nigga, and I ain't no bitch.... okaaaay....

I would have never pegged the ghetto white dude from Gran Torino would be the son of Clint Eastwood. Maybe grandfather, but not father...

Remakes

There is an absurd amount of remakes in the works for this coming within the next few years

My Bloody Valentine (already out and already seen it)
Childs Play
Halloween 2
Friday the 13th
The Last House on the Left
The Stepfater

I'm am hoping that these movies do not get butchered if you catch my drift. Why is there a need to remake Childs Play? The best part about that movie is that it is so 80's, in every single way, even right down to the midgets they used to play Chucky. The Stepfather is a movie that no one really nows about but I remember renting years ago. That may be interesting and I will see it because it has my favorite tv plastic surgeon in it, none other that Dr. Sean McNamara as well as my favorite badass SVU detective, Elliot Stabler.

The Last House On the Left is a movie I just recently saw and it was a total 70's cliche of a horror movie and even included some scenes that looked like they were stolen from the Duke of Hazard. That was a movie that you kind of had to force yourself to watch though. I remember my mother saying that she was scared of that movie because she had seen it when she was younger. I thought it was a movie about a haunted house at the end of the street but it is a movie about kidnapping, rape, and drugs. Which makes sense of why it scared my mother because my parents raised me to be leery of strangers because they could or probably will kidnap and rape you. The remake seems like it steers away from the original formula and tries to go for the dark and gloomy "Texas Chainsaw" type effect because every douche from every Urban Chic store will see a movie with that kind of shadowy lighting. However, I will probably see it.... at a matinee. Plus the original cast of degenerates in the original are much much much more convincing than the new group. At least the old cast seemed like they were insane unlike the new group who seem too high and lazy to do or kill anyone.

Friday the 13th is the same thing to me. The current trailers look to similar to a Texas Chainsaw trailer. I don't know why I think every horror remake has that "look" to it but yeah I do so whatever (I think it has to do with the creepy little old lady charactor). I wasn't really a total fan of the Friday the 13th movies, however, they are def worth watching because they are so damn campy. I'm not sure how I feel about the remake because it seems they tried to make it a "serious" horror movie. I will most likely see this only because I sure as shit won't be going to see Confessions of a Shopaholic on the 13th and Gomorrah isn't going to be playing anywhere so what else am I supposed to watch?!?

As far as Halloween 2 or H2 as Mr. Zombie is calling it, I'm sure his wife Sherri Moon Pie or whatever the fuck her name is will be playing EVERY charactor in this flick. I don't know how I fell about this either. Lukewarm boarding on the cold side. Looking at the current cast...... Not the best casting I have ever seen, it certainly wasn't casted by the genius that worked on Dexter which is beautifully casted. Blah Blah Blah... It will only be playing for a month anyway and they it will be replaced by something else, probably a movie with a real director in the credits? Just saying... It may be matinee worthy...
